These terms govern the creation, duration and termination of membership in the Association of Platform Workers of the Czech Republic, z. s. (hereinafter APP ČR or the Association). They are binding on all members and are based on the Articles of Association approved at the founding meeting on 14 April 2026.

Members' rights

Full members have the right to:

  • attend the General Assembly with voting rights (1 member = 1 vote),
  • stand for election and vote in elections to the Association's bodies,

Associate members and legal entity members have the right to:

  • submit proposals, suggestions and complaints,
  • make use of the Association's benefits and services,
  • be informed about the Association's activities and finances,
  • inspect minutes of meetings and the annual report.

These members do not have voting rights at the General Assembly and may not stand for election to the Association's bodies.

Members' obligations

Every member is obliged to:

  • comply with the Articles of Association and resolutions of the Association's bodies,
  • pay membership fees in the amount and by the deadlines specified,
  • act in accordance with the Association's goals and not harm its reputation,
  • notify the Association of any changes to contact details within 30 days,
  • maintain confidentiality regarding internal matters of the Association.

Termination of membership

Voluntary withdrawal

A member may withdraw from the Association at any time by delivering a written notice to the Executive Board — by e-mail to info@appcr.eu or by post to the registered address. Membership ends on the date the notice is received.

Non-payment of the fee

If a member fails to pay the fee within 60 days of the due date, the Association will send a written reminder. If payment is still not received within 60 days of the reminder being delivered, membership terminates automatically.

⚠️ Upon termination of membership, no refund of paid membership fees is due.

Expulsion

The Executive Board may expel a member in the event of a serious or repeated breach of the Articles of Association, or conduct that damages the Association's reputation. The member must be notified in writing before the decision is made and given the opportunity to respond. An expelled member may appeal to the General Assembly within 30 days.

Termination by operation of law

Membership also terminates upon the death of an individual member, the dissolution of a legal entity member, or the dissolution of the Association itself.

Personal data protection

The Association processes members' personal data (name, surname, contact e-mail, membership category, membership start date) solely for the purposes of membership administration and communication with members, in accordance with the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll.

The membership list is not public. Data will not be shared with third parties without the member's consent, except where required by law.

Members have the right to access, correct, erase or transfer their personal data. Requests should be sent to info@appcr.eu.
